1. Data Collection & Local Storage

Our apps are built around a local-first principle. The data you create stays on your device:

• Measurements, journal entries, ingredients, calibration values, preferences — stored locally on your device using secure device storage
• No account registration required
• No email address or personal identifiers collected
• No cloud synchronization of personal content unless an individual app explicitly offers it as opt-in
• Only anonymous action events (taps, screen views) are sent to our analytics provider

2. How We Process Your Information

Your data remains on your device and is processed as follows:

• All personalization happens locally on your device
• AI features (where available) only fire when you tap a button to request a result — see section 3
• We track anonymous actions but NOT your personal content (entries, ingredients, dreams, measurements)
• No email communication (no account email required)
• App improvements are based on anonymous usage patterns and crash reports

3. Third-Party AI Services (OpenAI)

Some apps include optional AI-powered features. When you explicitly invoke an AI feature:

• The minimum data needed (e.g. ingredients, dream text, prompt) is sent to OpenAI's API solely to process your request
• Data is NOT stored by OpenAI or used to train their models
• Processing occurs in accordance with OpenAI's Enterprise Privacy Policy
• No personally identifying information is attached to AI requests
• Apps without AI features do not contact any AI provider

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some apps offer optional premium subscriptions, processed by Apple (and Google where applicable):

• Billing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store / Google Play — we never receive payment card or bank details
• RevenueCat is our subscription infrastructure provider; it receives an anonymous user ID and your purchase receipts solely to determine whether your subscription is active
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your device's subscription settings

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. The only third-party services we use are:

• Apple / Google — for app distribution and in-app purchases
• RevenueCat — for subscription state management
• PostHog — for anonymous crash reporting and tracking anonymous action events. We classify this as 'App Functionality' because monitoring is essential for maintaining app stability
• OpenAI — only in AI-enabled apps, and only when an AI feature is explicitly used

6. Data Security

Your data security is paramount:

• All personal data is stored locally on your device using secure device storage
• Your personal content never leaves your device unless you explicitly request an AI feature
• Only anonymous action events are sent to PostHog for analytics (no personal identifiers)
• When you use AI features, only the specific content for that request is sent
• No account email, no passwords, no cloud storage of your personal data
• Your privacy is protected by design

7. Data Retention

All your data is stored on your device and remains there until you delete it. We do not have cloud sync or account systems — everything stays local.

Anonymous analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's retention policies, but contains no personal identifying information.

Deleting the app from your device removes all your personal data immediately and permanently.

8. Your Rights & Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Full access to all your data — it's stored on your device
• Edit or correct any data directly in the app
• Delete the app to remove all local data immediately and permanently
• We only track anonymous actions — no personal content

9. Cookies & Tracking

Our mobile apps do NOT use cookies or tracking technologies.

We do NOT track your behavior, browsing history, or usage patterns.

10. Children's Privacy

Some of our apps (e.g. those featuring alcohol-related content) are intended only for users of legal age in their jurisdiction (18+ in most countries, 21+ in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Since we do not collect account information or require registration, we cannot verify the age of our users. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the apps.

11. International Data Transfers

Since your data is stored locally on your device, there are no international transfers of personal data.

Anonymous analytics events may be sent to servers which may be located internationally, but contain no personal identifying information.

When you use AI features, your content is sent to OpenAI's API, processed according to OpenAI's data protection standards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in-app and updating the effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
